World War Two: Secret Papers on the Russian Front AAR   1 comment

Operation Squad World War Two Skirmish.

Andy set up some excellent terrain using his World War Two collection.  Complete with building with cellar.  Phil’s Russian’s tried to capture a lost German Officer with Secret Papers before Bruce’s Germans could rescue him.

Bruce’s Germans raced through the yard with bullets spraying all around them to no effect whilst Phil’s Russians tried to stay hidden in the building.  The Russians realising bullets were having no effect threw a grenade and killed a German but got one back for good effect.  At this point the officers banned further use of grenades in case the officer and his papers got blown up.  The Russians lost out in the Light Machine Gun Duel and with their gun pinned down could never suppress the German’s LMG.

The Russians got to the Officer first but their man got suppressed by the German Corporal hiding behind the fence.  Under successful suppressive fire from his squad and the LMG this Corporal then rushed out into the open and Assaulted the hapless Russian and rescued the Officer.

Well done Bruce!
