Painting Hobbits with Contrast Colours   Leave a comment

Painting Hobbits with contrast paints.  The figures are base coated with grey seer spray and then wraithbone from the top.  Gaps filled in with same as paints.  Next flesh is added to the skin.  For the trousers generally dark or light browns (wood or leather).  Light grey for the shirts.  Then light militarium green for some coats or tunics.  Bilbo got a mix of red with browns with green for his cuffs.  Lobelia gave me the chance to use some colour so got blue for tunic and yellow for blouse.   Bullroarer was painted using various browns to give the effect of a humble Farmer.
